So you wanna know something about me, do ya? Hell, I don't even know me, half the time...
Let's see -- I'm older than you, and I live a relatively unexciting life. I hart roller coasters, explosions, pop culture references, and irreverent humor. I swear like a drunken sailor with Tourette's Syndrome, am 100% fandom obsessed, spoilers are LOVE, slash fanfiction makes me happy in my pants, and I am usually at war with my so-called cable internet provider, MediaCom, hereinafter referred to as, 'those damned dirty cable fuckers', or 'cable fuckers', for short.
Yes, that icon up there is really me. No, you can't have my fugly sweater.
I like things that smell like fruit, especially lotions and shampoos. I generally traipse about town exuding the aroma of someone who has recently had a violent encounter with a particularly vicious ambrosia salad. I brush my teeth seven times a day. My wardrobe consists primarily of ratty (but name brand!) jeans and an assortment of vulgar t-shirts. Five Way Cincinnati Chili is the best thing to eat in the whole wide world, strawberry Pocky is a close second, and I don't care how many carbs it has, someone will probably end up having to pry bread from my cold dead fingers.
Y'know, after the concerned neighbors find me decomposing in my scary old house filled with feral cats.
Except that I hate cats. Even the one I own. His name is Starbuck, and we have an... understanding. If he doesn't piss on my clean laundry, then I won't crush his furry little head with a cinder block. So far, it's a stalemate.
I also have a dog named Jeebus (Who's Jeebus? well, now you know. Don't say I never gave you nothin'.), and I'm beginning to think that Starbuck may be in love with her. Or lust, as the case may be. Jeebus isn't having any of it, however, and one day, when that stupid cat is humping her leg (as he is wont to do), she's finally gonna snap and turn him into tabby custard. I await this most blessed day with eagerness and perverse glee.
My ultimate dream is to be employed as a location scout, televison writer, or casting director, followed closely by the desire to become a recapper for Television Without Pity. I figure if I sit around with my thumb up my ass long enough, one or more of these dreams will come true. And right after that happens, Jared Padalecki will show up at my door and ask me to marry him. I will say YES, of course, but I will also stipulate that Jensen Ackles gets to come with us on our honeymoon in Ibiza. Oh, and perhaps at a later date, monkeys will fly out of my butt.

60_minute_fics, and the business of running it has totally EATEN MY LIFE. You should come by. We have fun there. And by fun I mean that I rule over the members with an iron fist and force my ridiculous fandom predilections upon all and sundry it's a cool place to hang out and read/write original and multi-fandom fic.
Speaking of fun, I also participate in the occasional RPG, but not in the traditional sense. I'm of the opinion that people who get together in chat and simulate sex acts between two (or more!) fictional people are a bit strange ('cause I KNOW strange), therefore I'm a member of the wonderfully innovativeanti_procedural RP community. (edit: AHAHAHA! I have since eaten my words. I AM that strange, yo.) It's a LiveJournal based community with a whole new take on the internet role-playing experience. I READ. OMG, do I love love LOVE to read. A few weeks ago I realized that it's been ages since I read anything that wasn't manga or porn, so I'm starting Robert Jordan's 'Wheel of Time' series over again. Maybe by the time I catch up to the most recent tome, that final volume will have been published... (edit: Been there, done that. NOW what the fuck do I read to kill time?)
